Hey there, I'm Bea (AKA Tulip)
I help people stay connected with their elderly loved ones through monthly flower deliveries for seniors that bring beauty, comfort, and joy to nursing homes.
I'm a happiness and grief life coach, recovering perfectionist, ice cream addict (oh how I love thee... chocolate mint chip), unapologetic crazy cat lady, and an expert at helping people create deeper connections with their nursing home loved one.
I was nicknamed 'Tulip' by my grandfather when I was born. I do love tulips but if I'm being honest, Gerber daisies are my favorite!
I live in Pennsylvania, where I juggle running a travel agency, working as a first responder, and maybe being a bit of a Jill-of-all-trades.

And this was Glenna...
My sweet grandmother, whom I lovingly called Gram. She was one of the most precious people in my life.
Gram had a heart full of love for animals and kept her own little farm, brimming with goats, ducks, and chickens. A true country girl, she sewed her own dresses, decorated the most beautiful, extravagant cakes, and ran multiple small businesses.
No matter what supplies you gave her, she could craft something amazing. But above all, she loved her family more deeply than words could ever capture.
She was my person. My very best friend.
As she grew older, I found myself consumed with worry and guilt, feeling like I wasn’t spending enough time with the woman who had shaped me into the person I am today.
The thought of not cherishing every moment with her weighed heavily on my heart.
I knew I had to do something to make her feel truly loved.
There was this deep, urgent need to create something special that was just ours.
So, I began to interview her—asking her about everything I could before time slipped away.

Gram had a deep love for the outdoors, and as her health declined and she had to move into the nursing home, I felt an ache in my heart.
To bring a little bit of the beauty she cherished into her life, I began sending her a fresh bouquet of flowers every month—to brighten her days and remind her of the love that surrounded her, even from afar.
Alzheimer’s is a cruel and unforgiving disease, slowly stealing the person you love. My grandmother passed away in the fall of 2024. Always the jokester, her last words to me just days before she passed were, 'Why don’t you shut the hell up?' I know I should’ve felt heartbroken—after all, it was something she never would have said in her healthier days. But instead, I smiled through my tears, knowing that despite everything, we had shared an incredible, irreplaceable connection right up until her last moments.

As a happiness and grief life coach, I’ve learned that one of the most healing ways to cope with the loss of someone we love is by performing acts of kindness and generosity in their honor.
My Gram cherished the monthly flower deliveries and I created incredible memories during the meaningful interviews we shared.
I realized that these simple acts brought us closer even in her final days.
Inspired by her love and the connection we shared, I created Tulip & Glenna to help families navigating the same struggles I faced as my grandmother aged, offering a way to honor their loved ones while strengthening those precious bonds through a care home floral subscription.
She would have absolutely loved Tulip & Glenna, and I know you will too!
